Now, every interior is not the same and your project could be a first depending on your requests or requirements.
Here’s everything we’ll do on all projects no matter how small or how big:
Fill or patch any holes and apply texture if needed.
Caulk all cracks on windows and trim.
Use tape and caulk to create straight lines.
Cover all furniture, lights, flooring, and anything not being painted.
Remove all outlet covers.
Use two coats of paint to ensure the best results.
Clean up all trash created during the painting and prepping process.

Of course, some limitations will apply depending on if it’s new construction. New construction already has a crew dedicated to patchwork so you won't need us to do any. But if you change your mind about where your TV should hang, we can help patch and texture. We always make sure that our texture work matches your surrounding texture.

We will always use tape and caulk to create straight lines, especially when you’re changing colors from ceiling to ceiling, ceiling to wall, wall to wall, wall to trim, or trim to trim.
If there’s something you don't want to paint on such as your favorite velvet tufted armchair, the only source of light at night, or your beige carpet, we’ll cover it. How we cover, it all depends on ifthispaintproject is sprayed or brush and roll.
Furniture is usually covered in plastic over the top with excess to drape over the sides that goes at least half a foot after touching the floor.
Lights and fans will either get a piece of tape at the base of a ceiling being painted or a piece of plastic draped over the fan blades.
Flooring is covered with a drop cloth or either with paper (perfect for most hard flooring) or plastic on carpets where the surface level changes with each step.
Windows get masked entirely with a piece of plastic or smaller panes with paper.
Two coats of paint to ensure the best results. Especially if you're changing colors. There might be an additional coat or two especially when you’re going from a dark or vibrant color to a much lighter one. For example, Cherry red might take 3 coats to cover with an off-white however with such a large difference in shades a primer must be used. A primer will allow a clean new slate.

Clean up all trash created during the painting and prepping process. A good painter does not leave their trash behind for you to clean up. This includes paper, plastic, caulk, spackle, tape, drop clothes, paint splatters, and any trash that could've been dragged in under shoes.
Now some homeowners do take cleaning into their own hands but that should never include anything that’s outside of their usual cleaning habits such as mopping, sweeping, or vacuuming. Your painter might even offer to vacuum for you.
